KPV

Description

KPV is a very short peptide made up of three amino acids — Lysine-Proline-Valine. It’s actually the C-terminal fragment of the naturally occurring hormone α-melanocyte–stimulating hormone (α-MSH).

Here’s what’s generally reported about it in research settings:

• KPV seems to reduce the production of certain inflammatory molecules in lab and animal studies.
• Experimental work suggests it may calm irritated skin, help with conditions such as eczema or inflammatory bowel disease (when tested in animals), and speed tissue repair.
• Some studies in rodents point to reduced intestinal inflammation.
